“ZERO WASTE” INTERIOR
Until now, there are TWO ways of furnishing your home and investment property:
Hire an Interior Designer or Do it Yourself.
Hiring an interior designer takes all the work and worries out of getting your home or rental property furnished. But is it worth spending over $5000 in design and consultation fees and an additional $3000 per room on furniture — or a total cost of $12,000 - $15,000 or more.
You could save money by doing it yourself. But think of the time you need to spend on finding all the right items, on putting it all together, the extra cost on getting everything delivered, assembled, or installed. And, it will still cost you an arm and a leg, or about $6000 to furnish a 1 bed/1 bath unit — which is a big saving, but is it enough?
And what about all the WASTE … of new materials, energy, resources. The E.P.A estimated that 9.7 million tons of furniture go to landfills every year.
Now there is a THIRD way:
MAADKreatif™ offers a designer look, feel, and quality for a fraction of the cost of DIY.
We also do not charge any design or consultation fees. You will pay one low price for us to style, procure and install all furniture, rugs, artwork, decorative items, and your home or rental unit will be ‘move-in-ready’ when we’re done!
but that’s not all …
MAADKreatif™ embraces the “Zero Waste” principles and aim.
We practice responsible consumption by reusing and recovering products and materials to reduce or eliminate waste that pollutes the environment and harms our health.
MAADKreatif™ increases the value of your home and investment while reducing waste and your costs.

PROJECT BRIEF: Update and Upgrade Living Room
BEFORE
The client wanted a living room where she can enjoy a relaxing time together with her children and family. She was looking to replace the existing sofas with something more comfortable, but was worried that a large, deep sofa would not be suitable for her parents when they come to visit. She also needed ample storage space to keep everything in place.
AFTER
The new living room features a sumptuous and spacious sofa where the whole family can cozily watch TV together. We found a solid oak coffee table that has withstood the test of time and one that is large enough for everyone to stretch out and put their feet up; a chic chaise lounge that has become her son’s favorite ‘hang-out’, and two lime green mid-century modern accent chairs for her parents. We also restored a beautiful credenza with lots of storage space, and painted it cobalt blue, her favorite color.
PROJECT BRIEF: Update + Upgrade Dining Room
BEFORE
During COVID, the dining room has become a ‘remote schooling’ central for the kids. The client wanted a dining room table that is both indestructable and beautiful. She also wanted to replace the dark chairs with something lighter but durable, have storage for school books and supplies, and replace the existing curtains.
AFTER
Reminiscent of a Parisian grand cafe, the transformed dining room now features a refurbished solid wood dining table topped with a sheet of indestructible yet stunning varnished steel. Comfortable, durable, and stylish restaurant chairs, a wall of vintage mirrors with a floating shelf to display family photos, and a large custom made oak cabinet for storage. We replaced all curtains with light grey linen sheers hung on copper rods and handmade steel brackets.
PROJECT BRIEF: Fireplace Renovation
BEFORE
The existing fireplace sat disjointed from the rest of the room and offered no place to store or hide the cable box, wifi modem, and wiring.
AFTER
Wrapped in wood and steel, the new fireplace adds elegance and is now the centerpiece of the room.
PROJECT BRIEF: Update + Upgrade Entrance
BEFORE
Often overlooked, the entrance sets the mood and provides a sense of place and arrival to a home. The white cabinet, while functional, needed a bit of a lift and renewal.
AFTER
We replaced the white cabinet with a restored and hand-painted vintage, mid-century modern cabinet, the entrance now sets the tone and welcomes family and guests into the warm, cozy, timeless yet uber-chic home.
